Alexander has over 30 years experience representing clients doing business in Ontario, Canada with a special focus on German Canadian cross border corporate, commercial, real estate, immigration, estate planning, estate administration and litigation matters. His representative work involves providing set up and ongoing legal advice for subsidiary corporations in a broad range of industries and advising high net worth foreign investors in all aspects of their investments in Canada. He acts as general counsel and director for real estate investment syndicates, asset and property managers, general contractors, and real estate developers.


Alexander regularly participates as a speaker on various topics at "Doing Business in Canada" seminars conducted by the Canadian Embassy, the German or Austrian Chambers of Commerce, German Canadian Lawyers Association, or the Deutsch Kanadischer Congress.


Alexander wrote the chapter on "Canada" in the "International Real Estate Handbook", John Wiley & Sons Ltd., 2005, and the chapter on "Kanada" in the "International Real Estate Handbook / Internationales Immobilienhandbuch", Orell Füssli Verlag AG, 2003, both edited by Christian H. Kaelin and regularly updated.


He is the co-author of the article on "Canada" published by Walter de Gruyter & Co, in "Zeitschrift für Unternehmens- und Gesellschaftsrecht Sonderheft 3: Die Gründung einer Tochtergesellschaft im Ausland" in 1995.


His article on "Business Immigration"; first published by "Canada Journal" in 1989 is regularly updated. He also assisted with the publication and translated from English to German "Canada from Abroad" which was written by Woolley, Dale & Dingwall in 1988 and published by CCH in 1989.


Alexander is a trusted and respected lawyer qualified in Ontario with a special focus on the German speaking client living in Canada or doing business from Germany, Austria or Switzerland in Canada.
